Due to the large number of stands at the Expo this year, we urge exhibitors to commence the build-up of their stands on the days recommended above to avoid congestion and time delays at the loading bays on the last day of Build-up, that being Wednesday, 28 August 2019.

Access during Build-up:

Register and collect your Build-up Stickers and Exhibitor Badges at the HOMEMAKERS Info Desk - Hall 2 Gallery. On positive company identification, additional stickers will be issued by Drayage Officials in the Marshalling Yard. Access during Build-up will only be permitted to staff and contractors in possession of a Build-up Sticker.

Exhibitor Badges & Registration:

All principle exhibitors are requested to register for Build-up and collect their Exhibitor Badges as soon as possible at the HOMEMAKERS Info Desk - Hall 2 Gallery on Monday, 26 August 2019 and Tuesday, 27 August 2019 between 08:00 and 18:00.

  • Up to five Exhibitor Badges will be issued per principal exhibitor
  • A maximum of five additional Exhibitor Badges per principal exhibitor may be ordered at R 70 per badge Click here to ORDER online
  • Deadline is Friday, 19 July 2019

Please email any special requests for additional Exhibitor Badges to before Friday, 19 July 2019. The Organiser reserves the right to confiscate any badges being misused. Badges may not be handed to non-exhibitors to gain access.


Please do not leave your stand unattended at any time during the build-up period. Do not bring in small valuable items or portable stock until the last possible minute or until you can ensure its safety. We urge exhibitors with valuable items on their stands to hire an expo screen for security purposes (Package – Shell Scheme Stands ONLY) Click here to ORDER.

Exhibitors wishing to arrange dedicated security at their stands should order stand security directly from Event Solutions. Only Event Solutions is allowed representation at the Expo Click here to ORDER.

The Organiser provides 24 hour general security for the duration of the show, and does not take responsibility for any article brought in by exhibitors, staff, agents, members of the public or any person whatsoever.

NB! No private security guards will be permitted entry.


During Build-up and Breakdown, FREE parking is available to exhibitors in P1, P3 & P5. Hand your parking ticket in at the HOMEMAKERS Info Desk – Hall 2 Gallery in exchange for a validated ticket before you exit.

  • VANS/ TRAILERS/ TRUCKS to off-load/ load in the Marshalling Yard (30mins max)
  • Cars/ Bakkies to off-load/ load in P3

Vehicles may not be left unattended in front of Loading Doors, demarcated roadways, or in any area where the flow of traffic will be obstructed. The Organiser reserves the right to remove such vehicle at the exhibitor’s cost.

Parking DURING Expo will be charged for by the CTICC. Purchase your discounted parking tickets on a DAILY BASIS from the CTICC Parking Kiosk, opposite Hall 2 Entrance from 10:00 daily.

If P1, P3 & P5 become full and is temporarily closed, the CTICC will assign:

- FREE Overflow Parking along FW de Klerk Boulevard
- FREE Shuttle Service from FW de Klerk Boulevard Parking Site to & from the CTICC on Thursday & Friday ONLY, from 09:00 to 21:00
